Microsoft Outlook Setup 2013 is the email client that was included in the Microsoft Office Setup 2013 suite release.
Released in October 2012, Microsoft Outlook Setup 2013 is much like past versions of the email client in that it provides access to the Exchange Server with email, contact, calendaring and task management functionality.
Microsoft Outlook Setup 2013 includes a few new improvements:
- An Unread button – allows the end user to easily see only those messages marked as unread.
- Message preview – allows the end user to preview the first line of an email from the message list view.

Microsoft Outlook Setup 2016 on desktop is Microsoft’s locally installed application to access Exchange Server or Exchange Online, and has a similar user interface as Outlook on the web.
Both desktop and web versions of Outlook have similar levels of integration with social networks. Outlook and Outlook on the web share similar calendar and mailbox functionalities. Setting Up Your POP or IMAP Email Address in Microsoft Outlook

- To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Microsoft Outlook Setup
- In Microsoft Outlook, from the E-mail Accounts menu, select Tools.
- On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
- For your server type, select POP3 or IMAP, and then click Next.
- On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3/IMAP) window, enter your information
- On the Internet E-mail Settings window, go to the Outgoing Server tab.
- Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- If you did not change the SMTP relay section, select Use same settings as my incoming mail server. If you changed the user name and password in the SMTP relay section of your Manage Email Accounts page, select Log on using and enter the user name and password.
- The following example assumes you did not change your SMTP relay section in your Manage Email Accounts page.
- Go to the Advanced tab, and then change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port to 80 or 3535.
- Click OK.
- Click Next and Finish.
How to Set Up Microsoft Outlook Setup on My Computer
Microsoft Outlook is an email client included with the Microsoft Office setup suite which operates as a personal information manager. Outlook personal management includes email, calendars, contacts, tasks, to-do lists, and documents or files on the hard drive and can be set up using your Internet-based email server.
Step1. Open Microsoft Outlook and click on the ‘Tools’ menu on the main toolbar. Next, click ‘Account Settings.’
Step2. Click ‘New’ in the ‘Account Settings’ dialogue box. You will be given the option to choose your email service. Connect to an email at your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or your organization’s Microsoft Exchange Server. Your ISP options include POP3, IMAP and HTTP.
Step3. Enter your full name, ISP email address, and password you use to access your email address.
Check the ‘Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types.’ Choose your ISP email type again from the option of Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP.
Step4. Select your account type on the drop down menu. Next, enter your incoming mail server.
Step5. Enter the username and password you use to access your email via the Internet. Check the ‘Remember Password’ box underneath the dialogue boxes.
Finally, click the ‘Test Account Settings’ button to send a test email to your account and be sure your account is configured correctly.
Outlook on the Web
For companies that host their mail on Microsoft Exchange servers, Outlook on the Web lets users access their email, contacts and calendar via a Web browser without having to run an Outlook client program.

- Select tools, from account settings in the main menu in Outlook
- Go to the e-mail tab option and then click NEW

How to Create an Email Signature in Outlook ?
- Open Outlook. Go to Official site. This will open your Outlook inbox if you’re already signed into Outlook.
- If you aren’t signed into Outlook, enter your Microsoft email address (or phone number) and password to log in.
- Click Settings.This gear-shaped icon is in the upper-right side of your Outlook inbox. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.
- Click Options.It’s at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down and click Email signature. This option is in the Layout section of the options on the left-hand side of the page.
- You may first have to click Layout to expand it in order to view the Email signature option.
- Enter your signature. Type your signature into the text box on the right side of the screen.
- Make sure your signature is active. Click the “Automatically include my signature on new messages I compose” box to place a checkmark in it.
- This will ensure that messages you compose from now on have your signature at the bottom of the message by default.
- You can also check the “Automatically include my signature on messages I forward or reply to” box to place your signature at the bottom of every email you send.
- Click Save. It’s in the top-left corner of the Email Signature section. This will save your changes and add a signature to your Outlook emails.

Set Up Your New Outlook.com Account
Once you’ve chosen a username and password
Outlook.com takes you through some basic account settings. Start from the Welcome screen :
To start setting up your Outlook.com email from the Welcome screen, click the arrow to the right of your name. You’ll be guided through various prompts that’ll help you finish setting up your account.
Choose a Language and Time Zone
The first prompt you’ll see asks you to choose a language and time zone.Use the arrows to the right of the Language and Time zone files to make your choices. When you’ve finished making your select, click the right arrow to move forward in the Outlook email setup process.
Select a Theme
The next prompt gives you a choice between 50 themes : Click on the theme you want to use to select it. When you’ve made your choice, click the right arrow. The email theme you select defines the colors and look of your Outlook.com email.
Add a Signature
After you select your theme, you’ll see a strip with your selected theme at the top of the next screen. The next screen prompts you to add an email signature: The email signature you define here will appear on all the emails you send from your Outlook.com account unless you turn it off.
Add a Calendar
The next screen prompts you to add a calendar to your new Outlook email : To start, choose between a Local calendar, a MLB (Major League Baseball), or a MLS (Major League Soccer). Click on the icon for the type of calendar you wish to use. For this example I’ll add a Major League Soccer
Calendar :Click the soccer team whose calendar you’d like to add to your email account’s calendar. For this example, I chose the FC Dallas team. When you’ve finished, click the right arrow to move to the next screen. Choosing a team calendar adds their games to your calendar in Outlook.com.
